• Öngondoskodás Alapítvány (Foundation for Financial Self-Reliance)

The Budapest Stock Exchange established the “Öngondoskodás Alapítvány” in 2003. The Foundation aims to change Hungarians’ attitude toward financial matters and savings over time and promotes consumer self-reliance. The Foundation organizes ongoing training courses and presentations in an effort to educate all Hungarian citizens of the importance of securing their own livelihood and of ensuring personal financial success.

• Budapesti Olimpiai Mozgalom (BOM) Egyesület (Budapest Olympic Movement)

The Budapest Stock Exchange is a founding member of the BOM (Budapest Olympic Movement), a civil-society organization set up in November 2005. We are convinced that the economic and social development of the entire country and its capital would benefit if the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games were held in Hungary. The founders of the Budapest Olympic Movement firmly believe that holding the Olympic Games in Hungary would encourage investments, boost tourism, and the related national collaborative effort would increase Hungary’s international prestige.
