Mortgage bonds, which are real-estate mortgage backed debt securities, have been
available on the Exchange since 2001. Since the millennium the surging demand
on the mortgage market accelerated the trading of mortgage bonds and has helped
it to become the most dynamic segment of the fixed income market of the Stock
Exchange. Both fixed and floating-rate bonds can be found among listed mortgage
bonds.
